Allard Pierson Museum 

Allard Pierson Museum is the archae­ology museum of the University of Amsterdam. This unique collection includes art-objects and utensils dating from 10.000 BC to 1000 AD. With the exhib­ition designer Miriam Schlick we have designed picto­grams to help give a good impression of everyday life in pre-historic soci­eties. We have also focused on how to nego­tiate the arte­facts on display in the historic rooms and how to reveal inform­ation about damaged or missing pieces.
