Herman Brood

Fifty-Nine Dutch photo­graphers, including Koos Breukel, Anton Corbijn and Ed van der Elsken, Paul Hauf, Gerard Wessel, are selected through Martijn van de Griendt for this photo­graphic tribute to the artist and rocker Herman Brood, (who died jumping from the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam). 

Together with Teun van der Heijden we have designed, visually edited and produced the interior and the cover for the book. Martijn’s colourful photo­graphy is ideal for the front and back covers, this image tells the potential reader about Brood’s iconic work.

We won a very pres­ti­gious ‘Bestverzor­g­de­boeken’ (Dutch Best-Designed book) nomination.
